Welcome to Counseling at Bay
September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month
It is important to know the warning signs. If you are worried for yourself or someone you know, please come to counseling or tell an adult immediately. Suicide is preventable and we are here to help.

You can also simply text 988 to be connected to the 24/7 suicide crisis line.

You are not alone, and there is help available.
What is Counseling at Bay?
There are many reasons students visit the counseling offices. Sometimes students are feeling overwhelmed and need a space to process what is going on. Other times, students want to talk about a relationship or explore different aspects of their personality. Home life, school work, depression, and anxiety are also very common reasons students come in to talk with a counselor. You don't even have to know exactly what is going on; talking helps.

It can be frightening to reach out to a counselor for the first time - we get it! But when/if you ever feel like your life is unmanageable, or you have a conflict or worry about a friend you would like to talk through, we are here for you. The Counselors are available to students, parents and caregivers and Staffulty alike. We offer non-judgemental support and a confidential, safe space to share. We look forward to connecting.
