Christina Velasco

Hello Bay Students and Families!

I’m Christina Velasco, one of your Bay School Counselors and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. 

I’ve been working with adolescents and their families for almost 10 years, simply because I love this age group! I remember my high school experience and looking back, I wish I had a counselor or a space to go where I could talk about stuff that was on my mind. This was the motivation to become a school counselor myself and to offer this kind of support.  I’m super passionate about this work, making space for cultural complexity and inclusion, about Bay, and about ALL OF YOU! 

I’m a Sagittarius and in my free time I like to travel, snowboard, golf, read in the sunshine and take my dog Beans (pictured) to the park or beach. I am also super into cooking, food, astrology, art and trivia.
